UL chamber
choir (South African dancing Voices) raise funds to build world class Music program in United States. Despite
Limpopo province lacking formal administration of choral music and resources to
cultivate local talents, UL Chamber choir rises above the adversity.
During his speech at Tiro hall during the
concert Dr Moses Matsebatlela, a conductor and director of choral choir at UL
chamber choir will be visiting Dr Christopher Mathews at Union University, Tennessee , a renowned music professor in the United States.
He praised Prof Mahlo Mokgalong for the unconditional support he got from the
University Management. Together with the management they applied for a
multimillion grant from sponsors in order make this music dream come true for
the Limpopo Province.
“This is the first time we host a concert of
this nature and we aim to raise funds towards making the effort of developing a
world class music program on our campus, a reality,” he said.
“I am happy to see the university community reacting in numbers as we are raising the funds to visit USA. We are having tremendous talents in the stock and we are assuring our supporters good results and outcomes when we return from United States.
