Meeting the members of the Ensemble 2013

THABE MATSEBATLELA, PHD

Thabe Moses Matsebatlela is an Educator and Researcher in the Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Biotechnology at the University of Limpopo. In choral music, I direct and conduct the South African Dancing Voices(24 member Chamber Choir) and the University of Limpopo Choristers (60 member large ensemble). I also conduct and train the Lutheran Church Choir and uses music as a medium of communicating community development especially in school and childcare. He has received his education from University of Limpopo (South Africa) and completed his doctoral work in cancer and immunotoxicology research at Clemson University(USA). Choral works and community development are my passionate areas and cancer immunology is my field of expertise.
